JIMMY AND BETTY A WINNING TEAM

Betty lives in Oktaha, Oklahoma, where she
has resided all her life. She started
competing in barrel racing at age 9. In 1969
she and Jimmy married. Together they have
one son J.W., a daughter in-law Nikki, a
granddaughter Jaylie, and a grandson Jayco.
Both Jimmy and Betty are former teachers.
They have won championship honors in
steer wrestling and barrel racing. Together
they run their ranch and training facility at
Oktaha.
Their son, J.W., is employed at an overhead
door company. Their daughter in-law, Nikki,
teaches at Oktaha School. They also live at
Oktaha. They are very busy chasing their two
kids around to all their activities.
Jaylie, their granddaughter, attends Oktaha
School. She is in the eighth grade and is
successfully involved in competitive sports
through the school, in which she has
achieved high marks as an athlete. She is a
top notch contender in barrel racing, winning
championship honors as well, in local and
professional events. She is developing her
training skills alongside Jimmy and Betty.
Jayco, their grandson, is a standout in the
rodeo arena as well, in "Little Wranglers"
bronc riding. He has also received
championship honors in mutton bustin'. He
is well known for his multi-talented skills in
developing awesome skateboard courses,
unique contraptions, his gymnastic ability
and impressive mini bike willies. He attends
second grade at Oktaha School.


Together Jimmy and Betty form a winning team.
With over 50 years experience riding and training
barrel horses, they have developed a solid training
program that produces outstanding results in the
barrel racing arena. The success of their program is
evident with the many standouts they have trained,
champions they have made, and legends that have
stood the test of time.
The legacy continues with their granddaughter
Jaylie. She has had a hand in producing some top
contenders in the futurity and barrel pen. She is a
vital part of the team and an asset to their training
program today.
